Wycombe Abbey, a world leader in girls’ boarding education, seeks to appoint a Facilities Manager to undertake responsibility for the maintenance of the buildings and facilities on the 170-acre School site, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the School facilities.
The post holder will lead and manage a team of skilled facilities staff to ensure all maintenance services are provided to the highest specification across the large estate which comprises of both listed buildings and newly-built properties.
The successful applicant will be proactive with the ability to manage people successfully, communicate, negotiate and resolve often complex issues, working at pace with excellent attention to detail.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week. This job involves full-time working hours all year round and some early mornings, evenings and weekends, which may include responding to emergencies outside of normal working hours. A 3-bedroom bungalow is provided on site.
Salary: Dependent upon skills and experience but not expected to be less than £40k per annum.
