WM College is an Institute of Adult Learning operating from a beautiful grade ll listed building in the heart of Camden, north London and a small satellite site in Kentish Town.  The College is all about providing opportunities and transforming the lives and prospects of our learners and we know that the physical learning environment contributes to that.  So we are seeking a Head of Facilities who shares that passion and will bring visionary leadership to the Facilities function to deliver an outstanding service to learners, staff and visitors.

The College‘s current premises were purpose-built for the College in 1905 and have seen many adaptations and developments since that date, to keep them fit for purpose and compliant with changing legislation and needs.  They comprise teaching workshops and studios, alongside general classrooms, communal study spaces and staff offices.  Your role will help ensure they meet changing needs and achieve the highest sustainability standards, whilst being efficient to run and of course an attractive and comfortable place to learn and work.

Your role will strong and effective bring leadership to the day-to-day operational team as well as prioritising and project managing larger initiatives.  You will work with Governors and the Executive Management Group to provide expert input and develop and implement strategies and projects, as well as engaging with front line staff and learners to understand and respond to their more immediate concerns.  Quite possibly all of these on the same day!
