Team Leader Building Works

£38,890 - £43,857 per annum

Full time, 37 hours per week

Building Services are seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to oversee the Building Works team direct labour unit, in the delivery of a variety of day to day, and reactive repairs and maintenance, minor projects/works and compliance works, along with the procurement of contractors for larger multi trade projects, across a commercial property portfolio largely located within Bedford, including care homes, schools and temporary accommodation.

A construction professional with demonstrable experience in a similar role in the construction industry with a can do attitude, dynamic approach and a commercial/customer focus to drive the service forward. They will need the knowledge and experience to hit the ground running, using our new software system, Concerto, to manage, monitor and report on progress and performance. Ensure works are completed within the priority timescales, ensure customer satisfaction, H&S, quality, and budget targets are achieved within the service, and monitor the performance of contractors to ensure they deliver in alignment with business and commercial needs.
