My client a notable Managing Agent is looking for a Building Manager to oversee the operations of a site in excess of 350,000sq ft, you will have a ABM reporting to you, as well as working closely with an Engineering Manager on site.
You will have previous experience in looking after a site of a similar scale as well as exposure to setting and managing service charge budgets in excess of £3 million as well as overseeing health and safety on site therefore an IOSH or NEBOSH are also essential.
As well as management of service partners on site you will be required to engage with the end users (tenants) on a daily basis. It is imperative that clear lines of communications are forged whether written or verbal in order to operate this flag ship site. There are a number of project and tenant fit out works going on over the next 18 months too.
The asset is also needing to achieve and get accreditations like NETZERO, BREAM in use and WELL status, so exposure to getting these that would be an advantage.
The level of service delivery is very much focused on the tenant experience and partnering with service partners, to create a 'one team ethos' so being “customer centric” is vital to this role.
