Group Property Director

Maxwell Stephens have been appointed by a globally recognised retail client to find the right person for the role of Group Property Director.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will lead the maintenance, site development and property functions as you ensure that all maintenance is of an appropriate standard while delivering high quality projects on time and in budget. You will have to manage budgets across several areas.

Your Responsibilities

In this role you will manage the delivery of a significant programme of development, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.

At the same time, you will develop new retail concepts while focusing on value engineering whilst also developing long term refurbishment strategies.

You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

You will identify and action all opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in all areas. This will include you acting on environmental policies, practices and issues across the group.

Through training and succession management you will develop team members to ensure they always have the right skills and capabilities to support growth and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.

You will support operations across sites both in the UK and internationally across Europe.

 About You

You will be a strong leader who as a team player will be able to motivate and provide direction to property, maintenance, and development teams. These skills will enable you to manage remote workers and larger teams.

You will be a pro-active and analytical and experienced property professional who has significant experience in managing multi-site developments who is also experienced in full cycle property transactions from acquisition, development, refurbishment, disposal, and exit.
