Mobile Maintenance Technician

Maxwell Stephens has been asked to recruit a mobile maintenance technician on behalf  of retail chain to provide front-line maintenance support to sites and Head office. You will have the ability to display competencies across most areas of general trade, key areas been carpentry, locksmith and general building.

This field-based role will see you providing support across our clients estates and will require regular travel, for this you will need to have a full driving licence.

You have a remarkable attention to detail to ensure that you are consistently ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard while ensuring nothing is overlooked. You are an analytical thinker who knows that if any issues are encountered your ability to solve problems will not let you down.

You will have an aptitude for communicating technical issues to your peers and to non-technical staff alike.

You have strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

As part of your daily tasks you will be responsible for the day-to-day resolution of assigned tasks, while providing an exceptional level of customer service. This role will require you to be flexible in your approach to enhancing maintenance support both in the way you complete tasks but also accommodating additional skills as the role evolves.

You will conduct inspections and provide feedback on works undertaken by third part contractors, for this communication you will need to communicate both via telephone and email.

Will need a level of physical strength as you will need to be capable of moving heavy furniture or equipment.
