We have a fantastic opportunity for an Estates Manager to lead the Estates and Maintenance team and provide effective and efficient facilities management of all David Lewis estates, buildings and properties complying with all legal, regulatory and internal control requirements, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The Estates encompasses the extensive Warford site, 20 residential properties (7 in the community) and 13 non-residential buildings such a College, Clinic and Training Centre.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Estates Manager will lead on the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of all estates maintenance and delivery of the Estates budget, work programmes and projects.
We are looking for a highly experienced manager of teams, contractors, projects and budgets within a construction, properties, estates or facilities management environment.
The successful candidate will ideally possess a relevant degree or Engineering/trade qualification with membership of a relevant professional body and have an in-depth understanding of building regulations and technical knowledge of building services. They will also possess string commercial awareness being adept at financial management and budgeting. Health and Safety qualifications and a knowledge of the Fire Safety Order 2005 and fire safety requirements concerning Estates is also highly desirable.
