Maintaining and improving the facilities and services within these buildings is a vital part of realising their true value to the City Corporation. It’s also how we’re working to meet vital energy efficiency targets.

The role

You will be working closely with our external contractors to ensure compliance and stakeholder satisfaction across your portfolio. You will be involved in the performance management, monitoring, reviewing, and tendering of a range of contracts for both hard and soft services.

It is vital that you have experience of ensuring all property related Health and Safety procedures are in place and compliance management. You will ideally have or are working towards either IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications.

You will be involved in the reviewing, managing the delivery of a range of lifecycle projects across your portfolio as well as a key point of contact for capital projects. You will play a key role in the creation of internal reports informing and proposing committees of projects and where required seek funding.

About you

Extensive experience of Property Facilities Management gained from operating in a multi-site environment which includes direct line management of people, services, working environments and resources. An understanding of contract management including mobilisation, performance monitoring, SLA’s and KPI’s. Suitable professional qualifications e.g. IOSH Managing Safety, NEBOSH General Certificate, IWFM. Have a good understanding of environmental issues and how we can seek to reduce our impact and better manage waste, recycling and equipment and energy use. A good understanding of financial planning, administration, and budget management. Previous experience of working with Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software to better manage works, compliance, PPM’s and trend.
