A large established NHS organisation are looking for a SQL Developer for an initial 3 month contract which can be worked fully remotely.

Job Purpose:

  • The Trust are looking to automate the production of the board report, by developing KPIs within a SQL data warehouse.  The project will consist of bringing in feeds from source systems using SSIS and developing reporting metrics into a metric management database using advanced SQL;
  • Functionality will be needed to allow the capture of narrative against performance, so any PowerApps experience would be a benefit.  The board report itself will utilise a PowerBI front end reporting interface, so experience of this would be a benefit.

Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced SQL;
  • Specialist and comprehensive knowledge and experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);
  • PowerBI front end reporting interface;
  • Experience of using wide range of data sources and analytics tools to provide insight that supports better decision making;
  • Experience in managing, designing, developing data visualisation;
  • Working knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing;
  • Ability to analyse, investigate and resolve complex information queries, detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting healthcare departments would be beneficial.
