To £57,000 per annum

Reporting to the Head of Estates Operations, the Sustainability Manager takes full responsibility for championing sustainability and supporting the university to embed sustainability across all its activities.  The role holder will take the lead in agreed areas to support operational implementation of the Sustainability Strategy which will include the overall environmental management system but also developing and driving all elements of energy management and carbon reduction. You would be the ‘go to’ person for all advice and guidance.

The successful candidate will possess gravitas and credibility with excellent communication skills. You will be adept at operating across a multi-tier organisation with a track record in a similar collaborative and collegial environment. The role will suit individuals who understand sustainability in its holistic sense and how this can be fully embedded in all university activities. The role offers an individual the opportunity to lead the environmental sustainability agenda for an innovative and forward-thinking institution in the heart of London.
