We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual ideally with experience in a front of house / facilities role to provide a seamless facilities service to both internal and external stakeholders across the College. Organised and approachable, you will ensure that security is maintained through our signing in and out process, issuing passes when required. With an excellent telephone manner, you will answer calls and enquiries via the Reception and Facilities inboxes ensuring that all messages / emails are directed to the appropriate departments. You will provide administrative support and assist with events and meetings at the College, including setting up meeting rooms and delivering heavy items. As part of a shift rota system, you will open and close the building in addition to carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks such as flushing of outlets – full training for which will be provided.

 

With quality being at the forefront of our work, you will ensure that we meet the highest standards and work with the team to highlight any areas that require additional attention. You will confidently liaise with members of staff and visitors, ensuring that we adhere to compliance and regulations.

 

A customer-focused individual, you will have experience of working with Microsoft Teams and ideally, service desk software. You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal with good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office. You will be accustomed to managing your own workload and juggling a variety of tasks simultaneously.
