An exciting new, high-profile opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Manager to join The Children’s Trust. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Estates Management, the Technical Services Manager will be part of a team supporting the operational management of The Children’s Trust Estate, encompassing the 24-acre Tadworth site consisting of 15 buildings including a Grade 1 listed Mansion House and extensive grounds and (currently) 20 retail units across the South-East.

As Technical Services Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of Strategic Estates Management.  Your role will be to manage all elements of hard FM services and will extend to supporting the outputs of the directly employed maintenance team and our technical service contractors. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of mechanical, electrical and fabric compliance, planned and reactive maintenance work; lifecycle management of assets; and the introduction of improvements to energy efficiency and sustainability of these services. You will work closely with the Estates Compliance Manager, Health, Safety and Compliance team and the operational estates team.  

You will need to be a qualified Engineer with extensive experience of managing hard FM services, demonstratable experience of setting up processes and procedures in a similar setting, managing and motivating a diverse team and experience gained from the Healthcare sector is desirable.
