Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Director of Estates is responsible for providing strategic leadership and management for all aspects of Estates Services (including student accommodation). The postholder will develop and implement the university’s long-term estates and infrastructure strategy, in partnership with our local communities and strategic partners. This is a wide-ranging remit which encompasses health and safety, security in addition to environmental management and sustainability.

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing property strategies across large scale, diverse and technically complex portfolios.  A natural collaborator, you will possess the interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills to succeed in a leading University. We have an ambitious capital development plan, so a track record in presiding over cutting-edge capital schemes would be advantageous.
