We are seeking an Associate Director of Corporate Assets to lead and deliver the Force Estates and Facilities Management Strategy. 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to serve as an integral member of the Director of Resources Senior Leadership Team contributing to the overall strategic direction of Merseyside Police.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction, development, and execution of a range of programmes looking at the modernisation/rationalisation of the estate portfolio across the region. This role will also be responsible for Vehicle Fleet and Transport functions ensuring a pipeline that meets current and future operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective relationships across the Corporate Assets portfolio working in partnership with key stakeholders to lead and co-ordinate the delivery of the Force Estates & Facilities Management Strategy.
  • Lead on the management and direction of all corporate assets on behalf of the Director of Resources ensuring the delivery of key strategic objectives.
  • Position the Force to deal effectively with current and future requirements ensuring that force operational needs are understood and plans in place to deliver
  • Lead and direct the continuous review of the Corporate Assets department maximising the effective use of data and business information to drive performance and promote a climate of continuous improvement.
