Home based with travel weekly into the office in Leicester

We are delighted to assist a growing consultancy in finding Fire Risk Assessors to join their growing team due to several new contract wins predominately across Lincolnshire and London plus travel across the UK and Ireland

You will ideally have experience in carrying out fire risk assessments within commercial and residential buildings.

However, the client is willing to consider someone who has a good knowledge of buildings and their structure and will provide the appropriate training for them, should they have the right attitude and work ethic.

You will be a self-starter who is able to manage their own time, is client focused and is used to travelling to multiple sites.

Part of the role will be to write reports for the client, therefore you will require a good standard of written English

This is a roaming role with travel and you must have your own car (you will be paid mileage allowance) therefore, you must be prepared to travel across UK and Ireland and there will be some nights away (Please only apply if you are able to work within this parameters. Expenses and travel cost will be paid)

If you have had experience of delivering training, that would be advantageous, and you will ideally have membership to a relevant association.

Essential - good attitude to work & flexibility, personable and punctual, it literate, own car and full clean licence, good knowledge of the built environment and fire safety in general

Desirable - fire safety qualifications (risk assessment, door surveys etc.) and experience, ability to deliver training sessions, membership of association such as IFE, FIA, IFSM etc.

The package:

Salary 30 - 40k dependant on experience etc. (based on a 40hr week)

25p you per mile fuel allowance

20 days + 8 days bank holidays

Flexible working - in office (Leicestershire) on Fridays

Performance related bonuses (annually)

Laptop & iPad etc supplied

Workwear & PPE supplied
