Maxwell Stephens is delighted to have been asked by the client to recruit for the role of Group Head of Property Services who will be responsible for the management of the Group’s property estate throughout the United Kingdom and India.

You will ensure that the services and facilities are proactively managed and operated in a safe, secure and efficient manner.

This role will see you work closely with the Group Operational Resilience and Property Services Director to define and implement the strategic and operational objectives.

About you

You have GCSE/GCE’s in both maths and English as well as a Level 4 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Practice.

You have advanced skills in building and maintaining effective teams, stakeholder management, customer service and delivering solutions to complex issues.

For this role you will have at least 5 years’ experience in managing a multi-site Facilities Management and Corporate Services function, as well as procurement and supplier contract negotiations

As well as 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety and Environmental. management.  

Your Responsibilities

As part of this role you will ensure the effective delivery of facilities, corporate and property services for all office and branch locations across the United Kingdom and India.

This role will see you ensure the physical environments (offices and branches) are operating safely and effectively in order to provide suitable environments for employees, visitors and customers.

You will develop and implement a property services strategy that captures

Using your good communication skills you will maintain relationships with core third party service providers, maximising the immediate and longer term value from each relationship.

This role will see you propose, manage and deliver against the annual property services budget, assessing and forecasting financial performance, including comparison of actuals to projections.

This role will see you line manage and coach all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment.
