The Management Recruitment Group are working with a progressive multi-academy trust in the South West of England to appoint an interim facilities management professional to assist in the reorganisation and rationalisation of their estates and facilities function across their portfolio.

 

Working closely with the senior management team (SMT), you will be responsible for the review of the existing service, identifying areas to which improvements can be made – taking these improvements to the SMT for discussion and approval, and ultimately be responsible for the implementation. You will be taking an in-depth look and undertaking audits on process and policy, including the review of health and safety, sustainability improvements, and compliance – utilising your extensive experience in this field, taking the information gathered to produce an estates and facilities strategy for the trust.

 

The successful candidate will have an extensive background within facilities management, with the skills and experience around reviewing and designing estates and facilities functions and processes. Your experience will cover both hard and soft services, and you will have a working knowledge of a multi-site estate.

 

This role would suit applicants who are looking to utilise their experience in a consultancy or interim role. In return, the trust are flexible on the numbers of days per week required to be on-site. This is an interim assignment and the trust are looking for the right candidate to start as soon as possible (subject to MRG’s vetting processes).
