We have an exciting new opportunity looking for a Project Manager for an initial 3 month interim contract which will be based remotely with occasional on site in Cambridge.

Main responsibilities:
- Evolve the Digital Communications and Engagement strategy to ensure effective delivery, both internally and externally, of the change required, including defining a set of metrics/KPIs to measure the success of the communications and engagement activity;
- Lead the day-to-day system-wide Digital communications and engagement strategy, developing and delivering both high level (plan to a page) and detailed action plans, with a core focus on raising awareness of the ShCR, increasing its utilisation amongst staff and reassuring citizens and patients on how we utilise their patient data compliantly with GDPR, to deliver their care requirements;
- Monitor progress against metrics, providing analysis and reports, suggesting remedial action where appropriate;
- Build and maintain public confidence in and awareness of system-wide working through effective media relations and relationship development and management;
- Develop excellent working relationships with local NHS and partner organisations; liaise with the communications and engagement leads in partner organisations, to ensure a joined up and coherent approach to System wide Digital change;
- Provide communications, marketing, media and reputation management advice to the ICS Digital programme, as required;
- Ensure external and internal communication and engagement activities reflect the vision, ambitions and principles of the ICS Digital Programme, in particular the roll out of the Shared Care Record;
- Create opportunities to articulate system-wide key messages;
- Pro-actively engage with key stakeholders including GPs, commissioners, councillors, local authority scrutiny committees and Health & Wellbeing Boards, local community groups, regional and national bodies to gather input to help shape and modify the Digital Comms and Engagement Action plans to ensure successful embedding of Digital solutions, in particular the Shared Care Record;
- Maintain and develop relationships with media, patient groups and other key stakeholders. Where required, proactively engage with patient and stakeholder groups to gather input and insight as we move towards more patient led digital service design;
- Proactively provide information, reports, presentations and responding to enquiries;
- Write and advise on the production of a wide range of ICS communications including presentations, updates to ICS stakeholders at all levels and briefings to NHS England and MPs;
- Ensure all communications are timely, appropriate, of a high standard, up to date, and maximises the opportunities and channels e.g. social media, vlogs, etc;
- Manage a budget for communications and engagement;
- Act as the C&P Digital Communications and Engagement Lead at the Regional East Accord Communications workstream.
