The Management Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with one of the UKs most established educational institutions to appoint an interim Facilities Manager, for a period of up to 6 months.

 

Based at their iconic campus in south-east London, the facilities manager will take ownership and responsibility of two high profile contacts covering both hard and soft services, as well as being responsible for the day-to-day operations across this wonderful site, including cleaning, post services, minor works, health and safety, and compliance. They will be responsible for effectively managing a team of facilities assistants in setting daily tasks, and offering support and guidance, all with the end goal of delivering a best-in-class, 5 star facilities function.

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering a first-class facilities function incorporating the above operations, as well as experience in leading and managing people from varying backgrounds to achieve success, utilising your enthusiasm and passion for facilities management. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills is a must for this role as there are several communication streams that will need to be managed, as well as building relationships with senior stakeholders across the institution and external bodies. Working within a high-public-footfall environment is highly advantageous for this role.
