Estates and Facilities Manager for Pilgrims Pre-Prep School and the Pilgrims Centre Business Park Site

Full time, permanent position (37 hrs p/w)

Salary up to £44,000 per annum and highly competitive benefits package

Pilgrims Pre-Preparatory School is an independent, coeducational school with 340 pupils aged from 3 months to 7 years. The school is set in its own spacious grounds within Bedford and is part of the larger Pilgrims’ Centre site.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality estate related services to both Pilgrims PrePreparatory School and the Pilgrim Centre site under a service level agreement. Reporting to the Headteacher, as part of the Senior Leadership Team at Pilgrims School, the role will require the candidate to advise on the development of the estate and its facilities, support strategies for maintenance and sustainability as well as monitor the rent and service charge, grounds, and security for the overall site.

You will have experience in delivering on major capital projects, contract management, tenancy and SLA management whilst demonstrating the ability to inspire, support, motivate and effectively engage with their team. You should have the ability to simultaneously manage a wide variety of tasks, together with an appropriate estates and facilities/building management qualification.
