Associate Director Corporate Assets 
Salary £90k to £97k plus excellent benefits 
Liverpool, with hybrid working approach 

Merseyside Police is seeking an Associate Director of Corporate Assets to lead and deliver the Force Estates, Facilities Management and Vehicle Fleet Strategy.   

One of the largest Police Forces in England, Merseyside Police is a modern force with traditional values and serves a population of 1.5 million people.  Our Force covers a geographical area of 647 square kilometres and currently employs over 6,000 people in a variety of roles, with a diverse and complex built environment portfolio of c. 70 buildings to support this. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to serve as an integral member of the Director of Resources Senior Leadership Team contributing to the overall strategic direction of Merseyside Police.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direction, development, and execution of a range of programmes looking at the modernisation/rationalisation of the estate portfolio across the region, with ambitious plans to invest significant capital over the next decade. This role will also be responsible for Vehicle Fleet and Transport functions ensuring a pipeline that meets current and future operational needs.  

We are searching for an exceptional individual who has the motivation to support the force in providing a policing service that puts our communities at the heart of everything we do. The candidate must have and share our commitment to build a diverse and inclusive force that is representative of our communities, whilst ensuring that our officers and staff have the best possible support and engagement.  Given the diverse nature of stakeholder relationships and the requirement to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of 200 colleagues, it is expected that prospective candidates will have excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and be extremely delivery focused and customer oriented.
