Estate Asset Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 + competitive benefits package
Based in London or Duxford

The Imperial War Museum is one of the world’s leading authorities on conflict and its impact on people’s lives – from 1914 through to the present day and beyond. In other words, they expect their stories to change the way people think about war.

The Estate Asset Manager will be responsible for delivery of a professional, effective asset management service in line with IWM’s Corporate Estate Strategy, Sustainability Strategy and Estate/FM Directive. This will be achieved through the effective management of fixed and non-fixed assets.

The successful candidate will work independently as well as across different teams at all five IWM branches (London, Duxford and Manchester) in order to contribute to, and deliver, the priorities of IWM. Delivering excellent customer service and value for money.

You will act as the IWM ‘Superuser’ on the Estate Management System (EMS & CAFM for all fixed and non-fixed assets). Whilst assisting with the planning and forecasting of forward maintenance activities to support the business planning process.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of hard & soft service delivery in a comparable estate, with a proven track record of asset & project management. As well as a firm understanding of personal & corporate health & safety.
