Contract Director

The Role

Reporting into the Sector Director for Health you will be responsible for the delivery of hard FM services into the Princess Royal University Hospital in Kent (PRUH), which is part of the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Managing a team of 40 employees delivering maintenance, lifecycle and project works across the Trusts estate through a PFI contract. This really is a unique opportunity for a candidate without prior experience of PFI, engineering or healthcare to manage a contract of this nature.

The Candidate

My client VINCI Facilities are keen to assess a broad range of candidates from in and outside of the immediate industry as the key to being successful in this role is that you are a great FM operator and can demonstrate this. Rarely in the PFI Healthcare market do you get a vacancy at this level where you don’t already have to have health, engineering or PFI experience to be considered. VINCI are also keen to meet with candidates from the TFM and soft services side of the industry as the key skills that make you successful in these markets are transferrable to this contract. This is a challenging role with a real focus on statutory compliance, contract management and the building of relationships with key stakeholders. You will need to lead and motivate an operational team and have demonstrable experience of strong man-management skills in your previous career. It is essential that you are an effective communicator who truly understands customer care. You will also need to be able to travel to the PRUH site daily.

Salary

Circa 90k basic salary with car, health, pension and bonus
