In this position you would be responsible for the processing of large numbers of complex non-immigrant visa applications from screening, document checking, data entry, biometric finger scanning, and visa printing to the final return of documents to the applicant.

Professional presentation, and a courteous manner are critical to ensure visitors to the Embassy receive appropriate assistance.

We are looking for someone who has prior experience navigating complex regulations and applying them in a practical work situation, along with extensive experience with face-to-face contact with customers in a high-volume, customer-oriented operation.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

EDUCATION:

A minimum of four GCSEs, High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

EXPERIENCE:
Progressively responsible experience in work involving the application of relatively complex subject matter, to include experience of data entry and of working as part of a team providing a service, including extensive face-to-face public contact in a public service environment. As employees are required to understand the Foreign Affairs Manual (9-FAM) and apply it correctly, the incumbent must have prior experience in navigating complex regulations, processes, and/or procedures and applying the criteria in a practical, work situation.

LANGUAGE:
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
