Finegreen are currently supporting an NHS organisation based in the East Midlands to appoint an Associate Director of Capital Projects.
This is an interim/fixed term contract position for 6 months initially and will require on-site working. The hourly rate will be £59.11, working inside IR35 and through an umbrella solution company.
The post holder will lead on and manage the Capital team, ensuring that schemes are delivered to set standards and requirements within timeframes.

The post holder will lead on and manage the Capital team, ensuring that schemes are delivered to set standards and requirements within timeframes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide specialist knowledge across a range of works and building knowledge including all relevant construction related legislation;
- Ensure time, cost and quality standards are met, with appropriate project files and records maintained;
- Establish a clear process for routinely identifying, prioritising, and initiating new tasks where needed, ensuring that robust governance arrangements are in place for all changes and that there is a clear audit-trail for decision-making;
- Act as a role model, demonstrating a professional leadership style, holding the interests of patients and the public uppermost and adopting a flexible approach to meet the competing demands of the role;
- Provide leadership and management of the estate capital development and delivery programme;
- Ensure that progress and concerns are effectively communicated and escalated, both to internal committees to external stakeholders;
- Experience working within the NHS/ a healthcare setting;
- Professional background including specialist knowledge in more than one of the following areas for a significant time: Architecture, Construction, Engineering or Project Management;
- Knowledge of project and programme management methodologies and risk management frameworks;
- Financial awareness & capital budget management/ reporting skills specific to construction projects;
- Excellent skills in planning, organisational and leading teams.
