Job Details
Finegreen are recruiting a Estates Maintenance Manager/Water Specialist to work in the East of England for an interim period of 3 months initially. The hourly rate will be £30.91, working inside IR35 and through an umbrella solution company.
The post holder will support the facilities management function in the monitoring, planning and scheduling of both the PPM andreactive workloads and identifying current and future remedies to water quality and water systems.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of Maintenance reactive and planned, project activities as allocated, ensuring all work is completed in accordance to agreed methods, RAMS, service level agreements and clinical/patient needs;
- Oversight of all minor works and ensure contractors are meeting the required standards;
- Must be able to carry out water Authorised Engineer reports, Water Risk Assessments, Planned Preventative Maintenance evaluation and response to failures;
- Working closely with the CAFM resource planners, including coordination with projects, backlog and contracted services;
- Develop and maintain effective communications, team working within a continuous improvement culture relating to the CAFM and helpdesk teams;
- Ensure delivery follows agreed documented process and practices and to update department SOP’s in line with ISO quality management system standards;
- Support the annual backlog maintenance programme delivery with expert advice and oversight of the programme;
- Plan all maintenance activities, including major servicing and insurance inspections ensuring the organisation is compliant with both HTM and HBN requirements at all times;
- Operated of ZetaSafe or similar system.
- Experience working within the NHS/a healthcare setting and an understanding of NHD policies and procedures;
- A professional engineering qualification in line with the requirements of this role HNC/D or degree;
- Understanding of current legislation relating to Estates and Capital Planning issues and regulations;
- Experience in Estates maintenance and water systems;
- Able to support the development of strategic and long-term plans;
- Ability to translate highly complex information to be easily understood by a diverse audience and into operational practice using own initiative.
