Join us as the Facilities Manager for Charterhouse, a prestigious heritage site located in the heart of London. You will be the first point of contact for the management and control of the day-to-day running of the site, with particular emphasis on maintenance, security, cleaning, and IT and Health and Safety compliance.

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of maintenance, security, and cleaning staff across the site. You will coordinate all activity with the Estates Manager to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day services and activities on site. You will also be responsible for overseeing both hard and soft FM, PPM and reactive maintenance in Charterhouse Square.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Facilities Manager or equivalent experience. You will also need relevant health and safety qualifications and a track record of carrying out risk assessments. You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience managing/leading a team and outstanding customer service skills.

You should be computer literate, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a collaborative working style. Great negotiating skills, calmness, methodical, efficiency, approachability, and patience are essential qualities.

Additionally, you should have experience in procurement and payment processing, contractor management and be able to coordinate multi-department tasks and forward plan to maximize efficiency.

Desirable experience includes managing a budget, experience preparing and setting up events, knowledge and experience of running a CAFM system, managing projects, and being qualified in basic level First Aid. Familiarity with GENT Fire System and experience of working within a heritage site is an advantage.
