Job Introduction

Sodexo's Corporate Services Segment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering professional to join the key client account we have with Nestle.

In this Client Relationship and Technical Lead role, you will be an influential leader of the FM team, accountable for the delivery of outstanding services; you will be required to build and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will be leading a team responsible for the front-line management of the day-to-day delivery of Hard FM services across various sites.

This will suit a seasoned Engineer with an understanding of the running and maintenance of a building; you will be a strong leader and an excellent relationship builder.

Main Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement an overarching FM strategy that effectively conveys the vision and mission of Nestle and unites the team around a common purpose
  • Develop client relationships including working with them to align their objective and business plans to Sodexo’s service deliver model and strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for the performance of the Hard FM service delivery; take an active role in ensuring contract compliance, including avoiding service failures.
  • Effective management and delivery of planned preventative maintenance programs, responding to the ‘reactive’ needs of the client, to ensure continuous improvement and financial performance within agreed budgets. 
  • Identify and develop opportunities to enhance service delivery
  • Driving conversations. Take a proactive approach to understanding Nestle and occupiers changing priorities 
  • In partnership with Nestle, develop and regularly review a procurement strategy for all service lines
  • Attract, develop and retain a talented FM team; develop a resource management plan to ensure team career development and succession plans are structured and proactively

The Ideal Candidate

What you bring:

Essential

  • Qualified at HNC/HND Degree level in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Building Services 
  • Demonstrated previous experience of management of Hard FM / Technical Services Contracts within a manufacturing environment and statutory compliance
  • Demonstrate previous experience of building client relationships and growth
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships with key client customers.
  • The ability to influence change where required, along with customer facing attitude and excellent team building / people management skills
  • Have experience in coaching and influencing teams
  • Services management experience of people and commercial issues
  • Good communication skills with the mental agility to ‘think on feet’ and provide convincing practical solutions
  • Streamlining of processes to ensure the business operates at maximum efficiency
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards P&L financial management and contract performance
  • Intelligent approach to performance monitoring including relevant experience
  • Well-developed co-ordination skills, proactive, challenges processes and looks for improvement, self-starter and problem solver.
  • Available to respond to out of normal hours emergency situations
