£38,000pa - £45,000pa + excellent bonus & benefits

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw predominantly Monday to Friday with flexibility required depending on business needs, occasional weekends

Job Introduction

A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team on a highly prestigious client site.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced business manager who has operated in a multi-disciplined environment before ideally with a proven track record in facilities management.

As the Site Operations Manager you will be accountable for providing functional Technical and Soft Services management, ensuring that all requirements of the Technical and Soft Services contract are implemented, embedded and delivered, and that all services are being delivered in a safe, compliant, diligent and cost-effective manner. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the site, and to ensure full working knowledge of the areas and buildings within the Sodexo responsibility at the site.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance with policies, systems and procedures are in place
  • Ensure adequate control and monitoring is applied to all finance activities undertaken.
  • Ensure consistency in process and procedures deployed in operational delivery of services across all sites/contracts.
  • To represent Sodexo on technical questions from both internal and external auditors
  • Ensure that the site is statutory and mandatory (contractually) compliant at all times for services delivered
  • Coach and mentor members of the team delivering Sodexo services.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience of developing profitable relationships for multisite contracts
  • Knowledge and experience of Facility management is highly desirable
  • Experienced in leading company initiatives and change management processes
  • Experience in identifying and selling new business
  • Strong communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent client relationship management
  • Experience working in a regulatory & compliant environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated programmes
  • H&S Qualification – IOSH Food safety level 3
