Are you ready to make your mark in the world of creativity? Our client is seeking an exceptional Head of Facilities to oversee and manage their beautiful London headquarters and we want you to be a part of our success.

What you'll do:

As our Head of Facilities, you will be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient management of the facilities department. You'll take charge of all building-related matters, ensuring the physical infrastructure and aesthetics are top-notch. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and guiding the Facilities team to achieve excellence in facilities management. Collaborating with landlords, suppliers, and contractors to maintain strong relationships and address building matters. Overseeing refurbishment projects and optimizing office space to meet the needs of the multiple teams and projects. Creating a welcoming, attentive, and professional environment for the clients when they visit or work from the offices. Managing Opex and Capex budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and investigating any discrepancies. Reviewing supplier budgets regularly to ensure they are getting the best value for money. Collaborating with infrastructure engineers to maintain and renew essential systems, prioritising Health and Safety/Fire Risk compliance. Upholding physical security standards required by the high-profile clients.

What we're looking for:

We need someone with a proven track record in facilities management, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in facilities/office/building services management, ideally within the tech/media industry. Strong management and supervisory skills to lead and inspire your team. A client-centered approach, ensuring both internal and external clients have exceptional experiences. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement. Intermediate-level computer skills for budgeting, purchase orders, and more. The ability to balance immediate priorities while thinking strategically for long-term success. Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proven negotiation abilities to achieve favorable outcomes. Qualifications such as IOSH Managing Safely or Nebosh General Certificate. Experience using AutoCAD for design and planning purposes.
