AGH Solutions (wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust)
Managing Director
Salary: c£125,000 (plus bonus and benefits package)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
AGH Solutions Ltd (AGHS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and provides a full range of estates, facilities and procurement services to the Trust. We employ over 400 colleagues and have an annual turnover of £30m. Our people are central, and at the heart of everything we do, and we are on a journey of improvement, which includes ambitions to become an employer of choice for our local communities.
For several years, AGHS has been a key partner on the ongoing activity to address the Trust’s Reinforced Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (RAAC) related challenges. AGHS will also be a key partner on the Trust’s participation in the New Hospital Programme (NHP), with a new health and care facility due to be built on the Trust’s Steeton site by 2030.
The AGHS Managing Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Company, as a wholly owned subsidiary and key supplier to the Trust. The role offers a real opportunity to shape AGHS and the Trust’s future.
The Managing Director will be part of a leadership team that will develop a strategy and business plan to ensure AGHS can continue to transform and improve the services AGHS offers to the Trust as well as their other customers. There is further opportunity to lead delivery of key parts of the NHP, a major capital programme for the Trust.
This is a pivotal role in leading the customer / supplier relationship between AGHS and the Trust along with meeting expectations of the shareholder/subsidiary relationship. The successful candidate will develop a strong profile and reputation for AGHS and across estates, facilities and procurement sectors whilst remaining committed to NHS values.
We are seeking a candidate with strong commercial credentials and experience of managing complex contracts and delivering against agreed SLAs and KPIs. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to form productive working relationships with a wider range of partners. Most importantly, you will be able to motivate, develop and lead high performing teams.
AGHS is an exciting workplace that will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to grow and develop themselves and the future of the company.
